Light and Shadow

So for the last class we learned how to apply more dramatic effect to a drawing using photoshop by adding shadow and highlight effect
 Below are the step how I did it.
                                           THE STEPS
This is the original picture
1. using photoshop I added a layer of multiply and cast shadows on certain spots


2. I added another layer of  multipy to put in a darker shadow


3. Then, I added a layer of vivid light to put in core light source in the picture


4. A layer of hardlight was added to give out the lighting effect


5. Finally, A picture of grass was added to put in a texture of grass to the floor

And this is the final outcome....

So this week in class we learn on how to create characters. At first I was a little bit confused on the task but I managed on how to grasp it.... This I what got for my create character task.... 3D Final Progress 3- Submission for Assignment 2

So this post is a submission for my latest assignment which is adding lighting to our scene. Below are pictures of the final lighting arrangement being put in step by step. Unlike others, we decided to put in all the prop we did so far so we can adjust the lighting to our liking. As you can see this is the  scene without using any lighting. Please be inform that some of the props are not textured due to the limited time and man power but we will make sure to get it done by deadline. 1. We put in the light for the laptop screen using object light and study lamp using spotlight 2. Next we add a light for the night lamp using spotlight. We toned the intensity down as much as we can to make it dim thus suitable for sleeping 3.  The last light source is added which is the moonlight. Using 2 spotlight each coloured blue and white, we managed to achieve the night and dramatic effect also putting in what we called GOD ray Aaaaaannnnnddddd voila!!!...

Week 1 Exercise Colour Wheel

For this work,I use a lion's head as the subject as I find lions as a sign of pride and I am proud of my work.  For this work,I was inspired by a game character and his ability to heal.
